Switching Spaces automatically causes windows from previous app to be front

Submitted by hoopla_punta on August 16, 2008 to Annoyance, Usability

Lets say you have a safari window open in a space, and another safari window and a stickies note (front most app). When you have safari in front on the current space and you switch to the next one, the safari window is brought forward automatically

This is sometimes annoying if you're referring to the previous window for information and you switch to the other space to enter it in a document and so on...

Option to NOT bring forward the current app when switching spaces.

So in that example, you have Safari in two different spaces?
