Finder Sidebar irregularities with long-named external drives and discs.

If you have a long-named CD or USB/External Drive, the Finder Sidebar will automatically resize to fit the whole name if possible, pushing all the icons to the right.

And the sidebar DOES NOT revert to its original state after the drive is removed. That is the main problem.

I'm not sure I understand this... you have a problem with the fact that the sidebar gets bigger in order to show you the full name of the items in it?

well its annoying, and it does not revert after the drive is removed.

You can simply resize the column.
