Cannot set default window size for Finder windows, for ALL folders.
Lets say you have set your home folder window to your preferred size. But then you open your downloads folder, but it is of different size! Do you need to go and resize all the windows that you usually open directly to?
This also happens to the sidebar too.
A modifier-key close would save the window size, position and sidebar.

I totally agree. I have manually set hundreds of folders on my system to be the right size, both window size and sidebar width.
But EVERY time there is a new folder, it gives me the default super-wise sidebar and too big window size. Have not yet found any way around this. It's driving me insane.
