QuickLook: Sound volume of QuickLook not adjustable and too loud by default
When i QuickLook audio/videofiles the volume is too loud (like playing with 100% volume in iTunes), the same behavior was also in Finder file preview of Tiger, but there was a volume slider. In QuickLook/Leopard there is only an option to mute the sound. The only way to change the volume of QuickLook is the system wide sound volume. This is very annoying when for example i was listening to music with iTunes (which isn't set to full volume) and then previewing music/videos.
Add an volume slider to QuickLook and/or don't set it to 100% by default (maybe sync the volume with iTunes or system sound effects volume)

QuickLook is not an application, it is a feature of the OS/Finder. By putting a volume control in the window you are creating a consistency issue. Decrease your system volume and all will be fine. If you are doing more than previewing the file, open it up in its appropriate application
I’m not in favour of adding more options to Quick Look. It’s supposed to be just something you use to quickly preview a file to identify whether it’s the one you want. I love the way it works right now—it just shows you your file with the press of one key (and the most convenient one on the keyboard at that) and then goes away with another click. Simple and effective.
