All the system sounds are stale

Submitted by Aayush on August 10, 2008 to Annoyance

The system sounds in Mac OS X have remained unchanged since the pre-historic era. Every time I drag-and-drop a file, delete something or empty the Trash, I grit my teeth in annoyance. I try not to make any errors while I’m working just to avoid having to hear the “funky” sounds. All of them are in desperate need of a complete overhaul.

It will be nice if it was possible to change the copy sounds, but the system sounds sound fine to me!

There are system sounds? LMAO

I've only ever noticed the Trash empty one.

You can just disable sounds and then you don't hear any 'funky' sounds when making mistakes...

Dude... you just can't say that about the classic mac sounds...
