/Network needs to be available in Finder sidebar
To go to your 'network' in Finder, you need to either know the keyboard shortcut, or find it in the 'go' menu. It can't be dragged into the sidebar, unlike everything else. It's annoying that they forcibly hide it away.

Changed title from [Computer/Network needs to be available in Finder sidebar] to [/Network needs to be available in Finder sidebar].
Changed problem description.
Network used to be available; it was superseded by SHARED which, IMO, is not as useful.
What do you mean by superseded as Shared?? You still can see the computers, no? If there is a lot of computers, Finder will dispal All... to see all computers on the network. I say.. this is far more effective than having to acces the Network. Just too many clicks.
Hmm if you have 10 or more pcs in a network, the finder window doens't display all pcs. So you have to resize the window or close the other sections of the sidebar. Ergo, more clicks are needed to show all pcs on a network. Wouldn't it be easier to have just network icon in the sidebar. One click and you have all pcs at once.

There should be a computer link in your sidebar. If there isn't, go to Finder preferences (command-comma from a Finder window), and click on "sidebar". "Computer" is one of the available options. It will then show up in your sidebar, although it will be labelled with the network name of your machine, not simply "Computer".
