Finder: select files with keyboard (Part 2)

Submitted by mojo2012 on April 8, 2009 to Annoyance, Usability

If you select some files via keyboard (cmd-shift + arrow down) and then press cmd-shift+arrow up, we all know, that the last selected file will not be undone. So far so good ... not there is some kind of "invisible selection" on the last but one file. If you press cmd-shift-up until you reach the last upper selected file, the next file will be selected too.

Until you are on the top of the selection, you don't see, where this "invisible selection" is. So you don't know, when you are about to select an additional file.

There should be some kind of sign, maybe a highlighted border, to show, where the selection is. So everyone can see, when an additional file will be selected.
