Easily add comments/tags to files

Tagging files have become more and more common. Any ideas how to easily tag files ?

Just an idea: one could have the possibility to add comments directly in the 'Save as' dialog box. For example when downloading... ?

You can do this by using the 'spotlight comments' of the file - not whilst you're saving or downloading though; you have to do this in the File Information (cmd-i) window.

It's too long to go and get the file, Cmd+I... Firefox enables to tag bookmark when bookmarking. For me, its the only moment I tag bookmarks and I use it when searching later. I think I would do the same in safari, TextEdit... if I could.
