Allow Quicktime streams in browser to be played in fullscreen

Submitted by Flauchhaus on March 7, 2009 to Annoyance, Usability

Quicktime video streams in browsers cannot be played in fullscreen. There is no button for it and double-clicking also doesn't work. Every mayor flash video player (YouTube...) and even windows media streams in windows can easily be played in Fullscreen - Quicktime makes an exception.

Add a fullscreen button to the quicktime browser plugin controller.

Try HotBox and CurSorcerer. HotBox zooms in on a certain area of the screen, e.g. the video, and CurSorcerer hides the cursor.
