Track sort in iTunes
I have my music in iTunes sorted in reverse chronological order by album in grid view, so at the top I have the most recent.
To achieve this I have the following selected, under View/Sort Album: By Year, Descending and Within Years By Artist. So far so good.
However, when I click on the "Play Album" overlay on the hovered cover image, the first track plays but the tracks are listed in reverse track order, so track 2 never plays. This seems to be controlled by the Ascending/Descending choice above.
If I double click on the cover image it takes me to a list of the album tracks, this time in the correct order.
The "Play Album" shortcut should play all tracks from that album in track order, irrespective of whether albums are sorted chronologically or reverse chronologically.

Why are people voting this down? It is absolutely a reproducible issue.
I don't understand either why anyone would vote this down. Maybe my explanation was overly complex.
It's a clear bug. I just want to view albums with the most recent at the top and play the tracks from those albums in the correct order. It doesn't seem much to ask but it doesn't work right now.

Yeah. I can confirm this. Every time I use the "Play Album" function it resets the album list view.
