Front Row: Resume playing music from iTunes

Submitted by Flauchhaus on November 17, 2008 to Annoyance

Opening Front row stops the music from iTunes and there is no option to resume it from iTunes in the front row menu. In Tiger, front row worked together with iTunes so it even was possible to close front row and continue playing music in iTunes (which is great when you want to look something up)

Starting Front row shouldn't stop playing music when opened, it should work together with iTunes like it was in Tiger.

I'de also like it if Front Row didn't pause the music when you go out of the music menu and into, say, movies. I'de like to listen to some tunes while finding the right movie to watch...

Btw, the Tiger version of Front Row was tied to iTunes (it needed iTunes to run) and supported this. If you were MicroWaveDave, you would never update to Leopard! Wink.

This is the only and most anoying thing i find with the move from Tiger to Leopard... Front Row is utterly useless to me in Leopard because I only used it when i was away from the mac and wanted to control it's music. And if I'm listening to something and I want to do a search, it stops playing... I want you back Front Row 1.0!
