First time using a mac in over 10 years, but this is my first time ever using it for personal use.
While uploading some files to a forum, I found a very anoying bug...
as you can see an older style buttons can be scene. none of the other buttons feature the aqua style...

so the file upload box is firefox, not osx
I don't know, I don't even see what you mean with 'old'.
use your bain kid. the file upload. top buttons
Seriously, I don't see it. This is aqua - okay, it doesn't look like the Finder's buttons (the embedded plastic ones used in Leopard) but that's important - it distinguishes the upload window from a regular finder window, making it's use obvious.
If that's not what you meant, then I'm demoting you anyway since I don't see any problem (and I'm a UI checker).
.Chris: Correct - the "old style" upload box (rather the non-webkit file upload box) is rendered by Firefox, not by OS X. Thus, it's Firefox's fault, not OS X's.
I'm with japser, I don't see what's being talked about here. Are we talking about the view and forward/back buttons in the file upload window?
.Chris, thanks for giving me a laugh by misspelling when telling someone to use their brain. ;)
well it doesnt take a rocket scitence to figure it out
must be real blind not to see it..
Okay honestly, you guys are insane. Except that it doesn't use the sheet-metaphor it's got all the Leopard buttons (okay, so they're not embedded steel like the Finder - but that isn't a problem, it deferentiaties).
@.Chris: comments like that make finding it harder.
