iTunes 8 not Aqua-ish enough. Cover Flow functionality issues.
With the new grid-view in iTunes 8, the interface is looking like that of a iPod Touch or iPhone. However grid-view does not have the same effects as that of its counterpart, like it not having those "slide" effects when selecting the method to sort by etc.
Grid View should be able to show ALL songs also, giving you the choice to sort them by Artist etc. or sort manually, great for making your own song shelf or something.
Cover Flow in fullscreen is also lacking functionality, it cannot show the playlist of the selected sort method when in fullscreen. It should be able to "flip" like in iPhone, showing the playlist behind.
This should not happen for individual songs, but instead show relevant information in the card, like other songs in the album it is in, or options to create a Genius Playlist etc.
For Grid-View, it should have the following Aqua Animations:
Switching between Artist, Albums, Genres, Composers: Sliding animation in the relevant direction.
Double Clicking an item: The album will zoom and flip, to reveal the proper playlist it is meant to show.
Clicking the All ***** button will cause the playlist to do the reverse.
Clicking the left/right buttons on the top-right corner: The playlist will zoom out and flip, slide to the next item and it will flip again.
Switching between playlists and libraries in Sidebar: Will slide up/down respectively.
Grid view to be able to show ALL songs, which can be sorted or tilled manually.
Cover Flow to be able to flip and show playlist of selected sort method in Fullscreen. In song sort mode it will show relevant information and Genius playlist.
Personally I feel that this will be great for presentations, and should not consume too much resources. Improves a lot on aesthetics. This functions can also be turned off in the Preferences.

I'm not sure I feel that great about introducing unneeded transitions. They are annoying enough on the iPhone, I'd prefer not to have to deal with them in iTunes too.
Perhaps if iTunes performance was improved before this was done.
