Play minimized QuickTime and iTunes movies in the Dock

Submitted by vandlism on August 23, 2008 to Bug

In previous iterations of OS X, movies that were minimized in the Dock would continue to play. Currently the sound continues but we are left with a snapshot freeze-frame for the minimized window.

Minimized movies in the dock would continue playing both audio and video.

I always considered this "feature" a toy, or rather "demos well, doesn't make me more productive". ±0 from me.

Frylock, you're right about how the feature is not strictly productive, but it was always good for a "Wow!" moment when showing Windows users! I might not have ever wanted to see this feature introduced, but since we once had it, I see no reason why Apple should have removed it. That's why I gave it +1.
