Resize of icons - MPB you can do it with trackpad

UPDATE: After upgrading to 10.5.6 the multitouch pinch that used to resize Finder Icons on my MacBook Pro is not working anymore. It seems like apple is going backwards!

Pages: text selection

Also, the END and HOME keys do not behave as expected in all applications. In many apps when you hold SHIFT and press END it selects all the text ultil the end of the file and not just to the end of the line.
Most times the END and HOME keys behave like PageDown anda PageUp.

I noticed it is already enabled when you perform a search. The FINDER shows this feature at the bottom right. That's why I don't understand why it isn't always there or why we can't trun it on if we prefer.
I do Icon resize all the time using the multitouch trackpad of my MPB but when I work on the iMac I notice how much difference it makes.
I hope it comes in SnowLeopard like the picture in the link above.
