iTunes should indicate progress of buffering video/audio
When viewing movie trailers from App Store iTunes gives you no indication of how much of the video file has already been downloaded (buffered). On slow network connections you just have to sit there guessing whether the file is being dowloaded/buffered (more...)

If you have a finder window in Space 1 and a Finder window in Space 2, you will never know what Space Cmd-Tabbing will bring you into.

In order to ope a downloaded file, you have to right-click it in the Safari's download list and select Open n the context menu

Make software update notification discoverable when hidden beneath other windows
When "Software Update" notification (where you chose whether to install immediately or see the list of updated applications) pops up, it is a dialog-style window.

Current solutio is: minimize, close or hide all windows until you get to the Software Update confirmation box
