Keyboard selection support
polycat33 is right, I submitted it a few days ago, but it seems I wasn't clear enough. +1 for attracting more voters ;)
Column View of Finder needs to be able to show widest contained folder/file names.
Agreed that the small width is a problem. However, when you're looking for a short folder name just to go deeper in the tree, the suggested auto-expansion feature will definitely harm usability.
A more creative solution is required here.
Keyboard support in finder for selecting multiple, if seperate, files
Clicking is via mouse. I'm talking about selection without using the mouse.
Keyboard support in finder for selecting multiple, if seperate, files
Changed problem description.
A small visual indication that an application is minimized in CMD-Tab view
It does. If you press Option while switching to a minimized app, it maximizes it :)
Possibility to resize windows till the bottom of the screen, even when the Dock is visible
For the rare cases you need to access the status bar, you can hide the Dock with CMD-option-D.
Does it warrant the perpetual waste of screen area? I think not.

Thanks for your comments, but this behavior is nonetheless a bug.
Using Exposé is a good idea though.
