Submitted by tomerb on August 31, 2008 to Bug, Usability

Start dragging a file. Using CMD-tab you can easily switch between applications and drop it wherever you want.

Keyboard support in finder for selecting multiple, if seperate, files

Submitted by tomerb on August 20, 2008 to Usability

Without using the mouse at all: other than holding down shift while pressing the arrow keys, there's no option of selecting multiple files in finder.

In Windows, holding CTRL while moving leaves the selection intact, and pressing SPACEBAR adds to the selection.

Resize windows from all edges

Submitted by tomerb on August 13, 2008 to Usability

Why be able to resize only from the bottom right corner?

It's much more natural to be able to drag any perimeter pixel of the window to indicate your intention to resize.

Possibility to resize windows till the bottom of the screen, even when the Dock is visible

Submitted by tomerb on August 11, 2008 to Aesthetics, Usability

When the Dock is visible, it effectively shrinks the available screen size for most applications. Safari and Firefox for example, can't be resized beyond the top margin of the dock.
This is also becomes an aesthetic issue in OS 10.5, where (more...)

This option should probably be optional, especially since some users have a very wide Dock which would hide window's status bars.
