Moving cursor to the left while renaming exits renaming mode
It's a very old and annoying bug and i can reproduce it on 5 different macs.
After deleting a file, the next file should be selected
I completely agree, it's very annoying. Thank you for reminding me another Finder bug which tries to sell itself as a feature.
No Cut option in the Finder
topper: the cut option is not destructive at all...
And it can't be enabled by the user in Finder - only in 3rd party apps like Disk Order or Forklift.
Resize windows from all edges
Only the corners? Every edge of the window should be resizable vertically or horizontally.
Maximum window size with one button(like windows)
The problem is that most applications don't follow the UI guideline. Even Apple doesn't implement zoom correctly in all of their applications. There are too many apps which maximize instead of zoom (Firefox, TextEdit, etc).
DMG, Quick Time filetype icons are not 512*512
It's not just about the look but the Apple UI design guidelines. They don't follow their own guidelines.
Inconsistency in OSX Leopard Mac-Native Aqua Apps
I'm not in love with the Aqua interface however I can't deny it's not ugly.
I think that's not necessarily bad if the apps don't look the same because this way it's much easier to differentiate them. Sometimes I feel the GUI of OS X is disturbing because it's all grey. I use a grey scheme on other GUIs too but OS X is exceedingly disturbing for me.
No Cut option in the Finder
I think it's one of the dumbest things in Mac OS. I was told they didn't not include it because it's destructive... "For instance if you cut a text in TextEdit then you can easily lost the content of the clipboard by overwriting it with another copy or cut command...
But for god's sake other operating systems don't do anything with the file (just mark it for cut - in Windows the file icon and text gets transparency) until the user gives the paste command.
I'm very disappointed.
Moving files in Finder displays a Copy dialog
Changed problem description.
Dialog windows lack keyboard shortcuts and tabbing (by default)
On dialogs usually you can use Command+D for Don't Save
Command + C or Esc for Cancel
etc...

oh, polycat33... such a patriot. Then please tell me why does it say
"Moving filename.ext" to destination"
in the dialog however the title shows "Copy".
