Bluetooth File Exchange application is terrible

Problem: It's absolute crap! It can't transfer folders, baulks when transferring too many files at the same time, doesn't have a search function and doesn't display any information other than file size. It forces users to copy items to the (more...)

Solution: Allow users to mount Bluetooth devices in the Finder. Problem solved.

Finder: Connect to Server & Spaces

Problem: If you open the "connect to server" dialog, it will bring you to the space where you opened it the last time.
But as it is a dialog, it should be opened on the space you are currently working on. This happens even if you don't have (more...)

Solution: Always open the "connect to server" dialog on the current space.

iTunes ignores the system-wide 'Check for updates' setting

Problem: iTunes still checks for updates even if I have turned off 'Check for updates' in the Software Updates system prefeference pane. Users have to manually turn off updates in iTunes itself.

Solution: iTunes updates can separately be disabled in the application itself, but because it is an Apple application, it should respect the system-wide update setting.
